| The beautiful, historic Eagle House Victorian Inn
has been sitting majestically on the corner of 2nd & "C" Streets in Old Town Eureka since the 1880's, inviting countless generations of guests and diners to come inside and stay awhile. Described as a "late 19th-century masterpiece," the stately structure is just a block from Humboldt Bay-a lovingly restored lady who towers above Old Town, with colorful, fluttering flags flying from her uppermost turrets. Not only are there gorgeous antiques that welcome you in the lobby, but equally elegant furnishings adorn every one of the meticulously restored 24 rooms. Each of these rooms has its own unique personality, view, and individual charm-plus all of the amenities: private baths, phones and cable television. The entire facility is completely Non-Smoking. A complimentary Continental Breakfast is laid out early every morning in the lobby or the second floor bay-view dining room (coffee, juice, sweet rolls/muffins and fresh fruit); and the seasonal room rates are amazingly affordable for such a gorgeous place to spend the night-or a day or two. Corporate, business, and "regular returning" discount rates are available--and, we now have wireless internet access. When it's time to come to Old Town Eureka, make your "home-away-from-home base" at the Eagle House. After all, if you're visiting a historic Victorian Seaport, shouldn't you stay in an authentic Victorian Inn? Of course: The Eagle House Victorian Inn. Having friends, family or business associates in from out of town and want to really impress them? Book rooms for them at the Eagle House. Want to get away yourself (without leaving town) to celebrate a special occasion? Treat yourself to a beautiful Victorian room at the Eagle House.
